A recent article on AllFacebook.com proves people are using social media sites to gain more insight into their health care choices.
Notice a couple of compelling statistics in the article (below):
- Of almost 23,000 people surveyed; 94.1% consult Facebook about health care decisions.
- When asked to rate their trust of social media on a scale of one to five, 77.3 percent of survey respondents selected somewhere between three and five.
As the article states, “These findings together ought to motivate health care providers to expand their presence on Facebook.”
